Perhaps it’s CNN’s dismal ratings, losing almost 40% of their viewing audience, or maybe it’s simply Biden fatigue. It could be a yearning desire to turn the calendar back to the good old days of Trump bashing, when America’s prosperity was taken for granted and the only controversies within the mainstream media was choosing which nasty tweet by number 45 to report on.
Rather then the current fiasco taking place within the Biden administration, with a corrupt, incompetent and incontinent president,there is an equally incompetent and less popular Vice President, in one Kamala Harris.
She seems to have lost her lifeline within the progressive media, especially over at CNN, where a blistering expose on Sunday savaged the 57 year old, first African American woman VP, into an ineffective, unskilled and disoriented politician with a disastrous approval rating of just 28%.
“Harris is struggling with a rocky relationship with some parts of the White House, while long-time supporters feel abandoned and see no coherent public sense of what she’s done or been trying to do as vice president,” CNN reported.
Indeed, Harris’ appointment to lead the immigration effort has proven to be a calamity for the VP, who virtually ignored our Southern border, opting instead to go to Guatemala and Mexico for a series of photo-ops.
However, frustrated Harris supporters (there are a few), complain that the White House, namely Biden, isn’t giving the VP any real leadership tasks that would allow her to succeed.
“Kamala Harris is a leader but is not being put in positions to lead,” a top donor to President Joe Biden said. “That doesn’t make sense. We need to be thinking long term and we need to be doing what’s best for the party.”
Adding, “You should be putting her in positions to succeed, as opposed to putting weights on her,” he said, speaking indirectly to Biden. “If you did give her the ability to step up and help her lead, it would strengthen you and strengthen the party.”
Moreover, according to a former Harris aide, the VP’s dismal approval ratings are a fault of the White House, accusing the Biden administration of systemic racism at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“It’s hard to miss the specific energy that the White House brings to defend a white man, knowing that Kamala Harris has spent almost a year taking a lot of the hits that the West Wing didn’t want to take themselves,” the aide added.
These comments show just how dysfunctional the relationship between Biden and Harris is. Members of Biden’s own party are turning on him and accusing him of racism because of the incompetence of his administration.
According to CNN; “The exasperation runs both ways. Interviews with nearly three dozen former and current Harris aides, administration officials, Democratic operatives, donors and outside advisers — who spoke extensively to CNN — reveal a complex reality inside the White House. Many in the vice president’s circle fume that she’s not being adequately prepared or positioned, and instead is being sidelined. The vice president herself has told several confidants she feels constrained in what she’s able to do politically. And those around her remain wary of even hinting at future political ambitions, with Biden’s team highly attuned to signs of disloyalty, particularly from the vice president.”
With the midterm election just over a year away, and both Biden’s and Harris’ approval ratings plunging to historic lows, look for the Democratic leadership to draft someone else in 2024.
