One of the slanderous labels the leftists most often use to refer to their opponents is “alt-right,” which they use to imply that their opponents are “literally Hitler.” That’s if they don’t just say the Hitler thing outright, as Nikki Fried recently did when speaking of DeSantis.
After waking up to that lie, increasingly red-pilled podcast host Joe Rogan was speaking to noted CRT opponent James Lindsay and called it out, saying that the left just refers to people as alt-right whenever it wants to destroy and dismiss them. In his words:
“Smart people use that pejorative, ‘Oh these alt-right people’. I’m like, stop! You’re talking about people that aren’t even remotely alt right, like don’t do that.”
Watch him here:
Not exactly the most eloquent way of phrasing it, but true nonetheless: the left uses alt-right not to refer to people who actually fit that mold, but to slander opponents and present them as evil Nazis rather than simple enemies of radical leftism.
Lindsay agreed, noting the example of Josh Szeps, an Australian “journalist,” going on Joe’s show and falsely labeling moderate, pro-liberty journalist Tim Pool “alt-right” for daring to critique the Australian government. Here’s the clip of Szeps making that utterly absurd claim:
Australian journalist Josh Szeps labels Tim Pool an “alt-right troll” for Tim’s principled stance against Australia’s involuntary forced segregation of their citizens.

No, Tim Pool is not a Nazi because he doesn’t support the Australian government’s attempts to send those that remain unvaxxed to quarantine camps. Quite the opposite, in fact. Joe’s defense to the ridiculous allegation was spot on.
Returning to his conversation with Lindsay, Rogan then responded, noting that the left’s slanderous libel was utterly unconvincing, saying “You’re not convincing me by telling me that people like Maajid Nawaz are alt-right.”
A bit later, summing up how he and many people feel about it, Rogan added “That is f*cking nonsense. That’s so dumb. It’s so crazy to call him alt-right, and to call Tim Pool alt-right as well. Tim, if anything, he’s a centrist. He was a boots-on-the-ground journalist for VICE…”
Continuing on the subject of Tim Pool, Rogan added “I know Tim very well. He’s not alt-right at all, but he’ll entertain a conversation with anybody… he had O’Keefe from Project Veritas on the other day, and that’s like–that guy’s the boogeyman to the left. Even if what he’s saying is a f*cking threat, he’s exposing threats to democracy; he’s exposing real life corruption; he’s exposing real live conspiracies, and [the left] is like ‘Ew no, but it’s Veritas’.”
Though the lies are ridiculous, they can be damaging. Reporting on what “alt-right” now means, the Post Millenial reports:
