Watch: What’s Up with Joe’s Blackmail and “Revealing Pictures” Speech? It’s All about Civil Rights…

Biden obviously deserves to be in a nursing home (or perhaps just his basement in Deleware). While the “nice old Joe” stuff was utter hogwash from the start, just watch his verbal lynching of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas if you want to be disabused of the idea that he’s a nice old man, Biden obviously isn’t mentally fit to deal with the presidency and needs to be put in a far less stressful position.

Case in point of that is all the wacky, random stuff he says with abandon. One minute he’s rambling something ridiculous about the root cause of inflation and the next he’s…(checks notes)…describing how “everybody knows” someone who’s taken a “revealing picture” and then used it for blackmail purposes.

No, Joe, no. I don’t know who your friends are (or, perhaps more realistically, who Hunter’s friends are), but that’s not normal. None of my friends take pictures and then use them for blackmail.

In any case, here’s Biden’s blackmail speech, one with a likely kindhearted intent, as we’ll get to in a moment, but that he put in a less than perfect way:

Yes, he actually said that. It’s not a deep fake. His words, for those that couldn’t quite catch them, were:

So we established a new civil rights — a new civil rights cause of action for those whose intimate images were shared on the public screen.

How many times have you heard — I’ll bet everybody knows somebody somewhere along the line that in an intimate relationship, what happened was the guy takes a revealing picture of his naked friend, or whatever, in a compromising position, and then literally, in a sense, blackmails or mortifies that person — sends it out, put it online.

We’re giving survivors real resources against abuse now.  Ex-partners and stalkers who seek to humiliate and hurt them.

So, while some might watch the video out of context and claim that he’s talking about Hunter, which might otherwise be a fair conclusion to draw given the pictures of Hunter found on his laptop, that’s probably not the case here.

Rather, Joe was doing something good, for once. He was trying to give those harassed by violent, aggressive, or otherwise controlling partners a way to fight back. There’s little to fault him for there.

But there is something wrong with the way he put it: because of the activities of Hunter, because of the way he described the cause of action, something doesn’t seem right to many who watch the video, especially because Biden doesn’t

As you’ll gather from the comments on Twitter, some people seem to think that this act is really a roundabout way of protecting Hunter if people try to blackmail him with what was on his laptop.

In m view, that’s wrong and Joe was trying to do something good here and help those controlled by evil people a way to fight back. We need to give credit where credit is due, and it appears to be due here.
