Trump absolutely detonated on the media now that the New York Times has confirmed that the Hunter Biden laptop story was true, as could be expected given how influential the story could have been had the censors not gotten involved in silencing the story.

Let me tell you something. Joe Biden is a criminal and he’s been a criminal for a long time and you’re a criminal in the media for not reporting it.”
Trump might not be right on the most literal interpretation of his statement, which is that the MSM and Big Tech propagandists and censors should be locked up for silencing the story.
However, he is right in the general sense that what they did in suppressing, silencing, and hiding the story was wrong.
Further, their silencing it might have contributed to the election outcome. According to a survey conducted by the Media Research Center, a massive number of Biden voters would have not voted for him had they known about the story. As that outlet reported:
One of every six Biden voters we surveyed (17%) said they would have abandoned the Democratic candidate had they known the facts about one or more of these news stories. A shift of this magnitude would have changed the outcome in all six of the swing states won by Joe Biden, and Donald Trump would have comfortably won a second term as president.
Is that survey accurate? Who knows. As the saying goes, there are lies, damn lies, and statistics. But, if at all accurate (it claims to have a 2.34% margin of error), that result is massive.
The Hunter Biden story was election swinging stuff and the media and Big Tech censored the story in a major way, especially right when it first came out.
All of the blame for people not hearing it can’t be laid at their fee: the GOP also should have done a far better job disseminating the story. But, still, the suppression was massive and needs to be remembered.
The New York Post, the brave outlet that broke the story on Hunter’s laptop way back in October of 2020, and was promptly censored for doing so, was finally vindicated. It had this to say on the newest revelations:
“A comprehensive report about the ongoing federal probe into Hunter Biden’s tax filings published by the New York Times on Wednesday night confirmed the existence of the first son’s infamous laptop.
In October 2020, The Post exclusively reported on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop that he ditched at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019.
The laptop’s hard drive contained a trove of emails, text messages, photos and financial documents between Hunter Biden, his family and business associates — detailing how the president’s son used his political leverage in his overseas business dealings.”
So, the story is real. Many of us knew that from the start, but at least the left is finally admitting it.
