There is something about leftism that lets you get away with everything. The ends justifying the means about sums it up.
If Sarah Sanders or Kayleigh McEnany or anyone with an (R) behind their name had attempted half of what Psaki has carried out during her time in front of the press spewing filth, hate, slander, and lies, they would have been run out of town.
Instead, Psaki is part of the corrupt Establishment circles and can get away with almost anything. This includes disgusting lies about decent people and blatant ethics violations and personal attacks on the only honest journalist in the White House Press Corps.
In a recent podcast appearance, Psaki is asked, presumably, about Joe Biden’s earlier reference of Peter Doocey as a “stupid son of a bitch.”
Jen Psaki is asked if “Peter Doocy is a stupid son of a bitch or does he just play one on tv:”

“Jen Psaki is asked if ‘Peter Doocy is a stupid son of a bitch or does he just play one on tv:’
‘He works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a bitch.’”
It’s bad all around. She is dragging Doocey’s name through the mud, which is unfair on a personal level, but on a bigger level the Democrat Party is once again attacking one of the few “conservative” media outlets that gets national exposure. Barack Obama attacked Fox News, prominent leftists think it should be banned, and all of this adds up to a creeping totalitarian groupthink. They hate Fox because they hate the idea someone is exposed to an idea not pronounced by them as acceptable.
One way to make sure this line doesn’t keep getting crossed is by actually holding speech like this accountable. Psaki’s latest comment could absolutely be construed as grounds for an ethics violation, as reported by Mediate.
“For the record, I’ve [columnist Colby Hall] long felt that Jen Psaki is a master of her job as Press Secretary but also may be the best at the job that we’ve seen in the current 24/7 political media ecosystem. But she is not above criticism. And her comments about why Peter Doocy may or may not come off as a ‘stupid son of a bitch,’ crosses a significant line given her widely reported future plans to join NBC.
[Criticism of Doocey] still crosses a line that many in media were wildly focused on during the Trump administration and how staffers worked closely with Fox News. It was a big deal when say Bill Shine left Fox to go work with Trump, or when news broke of Kayleigh McEnany was reportedly going to join Fox News. Psaki should be held to the very same standard by the media held by Fox News or Trump staffers for the same.
“The bottom line is that Jen Psaki is a government employee who is openly criticizing a media outlet that is the competitor of her future employer. If Psaki has a “handshake deal” to join NBC after she officially leaves the briefing room podium, then she should reasonably be far more circumspect in not just her future briefings, but in any public appearance in which she is asked about competitors of her future employer.”
Either we hold government speakers accountable for their attacks on the free press or we will end up where the free press is a relic of a bygone era. Do we want the American Republic at its founding or China? Those are the only two options.
