“The Way in Which Wars Start”: Unhinged Leftist Makes Bizarre Threat Over Parental Rights Bill

Democrats are so mad about Florida Governor Ron DeSanatis’ parental rights in education bill that, apparently, at least one of them thinks it might be the sort of thing that could start a war.

Yes, really. One unhinged leftist, the American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten, went over the edge of sanity on a recent podcast appearance with Rick Smith, a radio host, saying that laws like the one DeSantis signed are the sort of thing that start wars. She said:

“This notion – we’ve been very lucky in America, and we in some ways live in a bubble for a long time. This is propaganda. This is misinformation. This is the way in which wars start. This is the way in which hatred starts.”

No, Randi. Or, as Trump might say, “WRONG!” Hatred doesn’t start with laws that stop kindergarten teachers from teaching kindergarteners radical sexual theories. All that kickstarts is kids learning about their ABCs and 123s rather than their LGBTs; or, in other words, learn about what kids have always learned about rather than whatever radical theory the blue-hairs currently want to push on six-year-olds.

But Randi the radical, of course, doesn’t get that. Or, more likely, she cynically pretends to be innocent to try to stave off criticism and make those who would talk to kids about radical sexual theories and their genitals seem normal rather than creepy. Going down that weird path, a path that flirts dangerously close to defending pedophiles, Randi said:

We’re not indoctrinating. We’re not grooming. … What we’re doing is making sure we educate kids. We keep them safe. We keep them welcome. And we teach them how to think, not what to think.”

Wrong on every count. They’re doing all those things, which is why the bill was necessary in the first place. If teachers weren’t teaching kids about creepy sex stuff, there wouldn’t have been the outrage necessary to push the bill over the finish line, nor would there have been so many parents across the political aisle that agreed with the bill.

But many support it and thought it was necessary, so evidently the teachers were up to something creepy, a view supported by pretty much every video of a teacher shared on TikTok or Twitter now.

Further, the whole idea that five-year-olds shouldn’t be taught what to think is ridiculous. They do need to be taught basic facts: the alphabet, math, reading, etc. That’s “what to think,” rather than how to think, but it’s incredibly important.

The issue is that they’re five, so they shouldn’t be propagandized to about either what or how to think about some radical sex idea the leftist teachers are obsessed with.

Fortunately, other states are following in DeSantis’ footsteps and Randi’s point is being largely discredited the more people learn about what creepy stuff is going on in schools and how it can be fought with effective legislation such as what DeSantis has pushed.
