Watch: Nancy Pelosi Appearing In Upcoming Drag Queen Show

Octogenarian House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the third in line for presidential succession, is slated to appear in a drag show hosted by RuPaul. The show, titled RuPail’s Drag Race All-Stars, is scheduled to premiere on May 20th.

Perhaps more amazing than the fact that Pelosi is appearing in this event at all is the fact that this isn’t the first time she’s done it. Readers might recall that Pelosi pulled a similar stunt in 2018, around the time then-president Donald Trump was considering barring individuals suffering from gender dysphoria from serving and preventing taxpayers from paying for so-called affirmative surgeries. That particular law went into effect in 2019 but was reversed by Trump’s successor in 2021.

The Daily Wire noted the following:

“It won’t be the first appearance for Pelosi on the show. She was also on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2018. “This idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country. And that’s why I was so excited and couldn’t resist being on the show,” Pelosi told The Hollywood Reporter after her first appearance…

Some considered Pelosi’s 2018 appearance on the show to be a publicity stunt as former President Donald Trump tried to block transgender people from serving in the military. Trump’s rule went into effect in 2019, but was later repealed by the Biden administration.

“President Joe Biden repealed a Trump-era executive order barring people who identify as transgender from serving in the military in most cases, as well as preventing military funding from paying for sex reassignment surgeries,” The Daily Wire’s Tim Pearce reported in January 2021.”

A promotional video was released for the soon-to-be-released Season 7. In it, a yell0w-clad Pelosi can be seen uttering RuPaul’s iconic line of “Can I get an amen?” Watch below at the 1:35 clip for the Speaker’s cameo:

How much of a role Pelosi plays in this season is left unsaid, but it is worth asking why she has any role at all. She is unable to speak, she is uninteresting, and she has never advanced the causes of anyone until they become politically viable. Does anyone think Pelosi represents them, cares about them or even knows about them? Well, people keep voting for her and people will watch this show, so that about sums up what the conservative movement is up against.

After her 2018 appearance, Pelosi tweeted this stunning display of nightmarish grammatical and spelling applications:

“All I can say is, you betta werk! Had a fabulous time with @RuPaul and good luck to all the queens.”

Her interview with the Hollywood Reporter, as mentioned in the Daily Wire article, also included her mentioning telling the drag queen crowd that: “You’re an inspiration ? I hope you know ? because you really know your power. It’s about taking pride. And that’s what you do ? take pride in yourselves.
