Are the Democrats going to be able to turn things around now that the Supreme Court has sparked a major fight over abortion rights with its supposed ruling on the Dobbs case, a ruling which would return the abortion issue to the states and leave it open for states to ban abortions?
Potentially, as the abortion issue is a contentious one that’s sure to reanimate Democrat voters that have otherwise been disenchanted by Biden’s disastrous policies and many failures.
However, it might not prove to be the winning bullet that some Democrats seem to think it is, as Democrats are already turning on their own and eating each other on the abortion issue.
In fact, Nasty Nancy Pelosi and Greasy Gavin Newsom have now turned on each other over the issue of whether Democrats are doing enough and fighting hard enough for the supposed “right” to an abortion.
Newsom started the fight when speaking at a Planned Parenthood clinic in LA, championing abortion and saying:
“This Supreme Court is poised to roll back constitutionally protected rights, and don’t think for a second — don’t think for a second — this is where they stop.
“They are coming after you. You think for a second same-sex marriage is safe in the United States? If privacy is not constitutionally protected, this opens up a panoply of issues.”
While such overheated rhetoric about abortion is to be expected from Democrats, intent as they are on the “right” to rip babies from the womb and kill them, it was what he said next that set Nancy off.
He, speaking about the need for Democrats to start fighting back more forcefully on the issue, particularly Democratic legislators, said:
“Where is the Democratic Party? Why aren’t we standing up more firmly? More resolutely? Why aren’t we calling this out? This is a concerted, coordinated effort and, yes, they’re winning. We need to stand up. Where is the counter offensive?”
Well, that sent Nasty Nancy, Speaker of the House, off, as she’s the one in charge of the DNC’s House of Reps contingent.
She, appearing on the CBS show “Face the Nation,” said:
“I have no idea why anybody would make that statement unless they were unaware of the fight that has been going on. The fact is that we have been fighting for a woman’s right to choose – and that is to choose. We have been fighting against the Republicans in the Congress constantly.“

Democrats could, potentially, use the abortion issue to their advantage, as it’s a massive win for conservatives that might rally their base.
But, to do so, they’ll need to avoid falling prey to infighting and bickering. Fortunately for the GOP, it looks like they’re already playing the blame game and squabbling rather than standing together in a desperate attempt to fend off the incoming red wave. We’ll have to wait and see whether they settle down or let it break out into the open.
