Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) brings some serious and much-needed energy to the halls of the aged and corrupt halls of Congress.
Her performance at Biden’s gaslighting snoozefest during Biden’s State of the Union, her passionate pleas to “drill, baby, drill,” and her general love of individual liberty make her stand out in a den of thieves.
Now, with a fervent blowback against Biden’s Orwellian Department of Homeland Security task force, Boebert is predictably and rightfully leading efforts to dismantle the group before it becomes the next government entrenchment against individual rights and liberties.

Boom. It’s sad when someone points out the obvious; like, why isn’t this language being used by all 535 elected officials in D.C.? Why do only a handful speak out against government tyranny?
Regardless, The Protecting Free Speech Act is my kind of legislation. It reduces government and it used less than 150 words. In other words, we don’t have to pass it to find out what’s in it.
Here is the entirety of Boebert’s bill. If you can’t get behind this bill, you hate freedom, you hate me, and you hate this country. I can’t arrive at any other conclusion.
A Bill
To terminate the Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security and to prohibit the use of Federal funds to establish any other similar Board, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “Protecting Free Speech Act”.
SEC. 2. TERMINATION OF THE DISINFORMATION GOVERNANCE BOARD.
The Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security is hereby terminated.
SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON FUNDING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE DISINFORMATION GOVERNANCE BOARD.
No Federal funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to the Department of Homeland Security may be made available to establish or carry out the activities of any other entity that is substantially similar to the Disinformation Governance Board terminated by section 2.
