“Our Legal System is CORRUPT,” “Our Country is Going to HELL”: Trump BLOWS UP Over Sussmann Verdict

A D.C. jury just let Clinton Campaign-affiliated lawyer Michael Sussmann off of the hook for what many saw as a lie he made to the FBI about his connections to the Clinton Campaign and for whom he was working when he sent them supposed data from Trump’s office showing a connection to Alfa Bank, a Russian financial institution.

Trump took to his social media app, Truth Social, to vent his rage and savagely attack both the justice system and Biden Administration in a “truth”, which is what the app calls posts made on it, saying:

“Our Legal System is CORRUPT, our Judges (and Justices!) are highly partisan, compromised or just plain scared, our Borders are OPEN, Inflation is RAMPANT, gas prices and food costs are “through the roof,” our Military “Leadership” is Woke, our Country is going to HELL, and Michael Sussmann is not guilty. How’s everything else doing? Enjoy your day!”

Similarly, his politically-minded son, Donald Trump Jr., sounded off on Twitter, saying:

I’m shocked the DC Clinton donor jury let Clinton’s lawyer off… HAHAHA just kidding, absolutely no one is shocked. Hunter Biden off next then Paul Pelosi etc etc. We all know how this goes by now… Only people not tied to the establishment DC swamp ever face accountability.

The Paul Pelosi comment is a reference to Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi, who was arrested for two misdemeanors including a driving under the influence charge over the weekend while driving near the couple’s Napa Valley Vineyard.

Why did DC jury acquit Sussmann? Politics aside, simplest answer is the evidence-which suggested the Obama FBI leadership knew full well the Clinton gang was behind the Alfa Bank-Russia smears of Trump. Durham tried to pretend Obama FBI was a victim. It was a co-conspirator.

I’ve never understood why anyone had any real expectations from the Durham investigation.

It’s been years and no one is ever held accountable and no one goes to jail in spite of clear evidence.

Unless you’re a regular person, you never get off & your taxes pay for all this BS.

Special Counsel John Durham, for his part, said:

“While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the jury’s decision and thank them for their service.

“I also want to recognize and thank the investigators and the prosecution team for their dedicated efforts in seeking truth and justice in this case.”

Where Durham goes from here is unclear, as it might be that he lost the confidence of the right with this courtroom defeat. Still, it’s possible his investigation will continue and he’ll find someone to hold accountable, even if this defeat makes that seem unlikely.
