[Watch] How Bad Is It For Biden And Democrats? Even CNN Is Clobbering Them

If the mainstream media is indeed merely a pseudo communications department of the Democratic Party – which it is – then CNN is the co-chair of that department, with MSNBC as the other. There is no outlet in America’s corrupt collection of leftwing media that better serves as a Democrat cheerleader than CNN, though MSNBC occasionally gives them a run for their money.

Therefore, a question: How bad must the situation be in order for CNN to not only report on bad news for President Joe Biden and his party – which is itself highly unusual – but to also accurately interpret that news and offer a reasonable opinion? The answer: That situation must be really, really bad. And indeed, it truly is.

On CNN’s Wednesday evening’s broadcast of Anderson Cooper 360°, a senior reporter at the network named Harry Enten reviewed some key data points and offered comparisons of Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter. And in doing, Enten pulled off the gloves. Watch:

While Enten is most reporting facts, what’s noteworthy about his comments is that they’re both candid and accurate. For well over a decade now, dating back to before Barack Obama’s presidency, we’ve become accustomed to CNN spinning news like this. In previous years, we could have expected the network to downplay the significance of inflation, and make excuses for the president. But things are getting so bad, that not even CNN can keep up with the charade.

This assertion by Enten sums up the situation perfectly:

“It’s [inflation] awful. And how people feel about it is even worse. You look at consumer sentiment right now, and what do you see? This is the worst consumer sentiment ever measured by the University of Michigan, going all the way back to 1952.”

Again, Enten’s words are accurate but it is the emphasis he puts on his words that is particularly interesting. He comes across as impassioned, certainly, but it’s also clear he wants to ensure viewers understand how bad this predicament is. He then uses a compelling chart (shown in our featured photo for this article) to show that “the Consumer Price Index is the worst it’s ever been in a midterm cycle since 1974, and it’s the worst it’s been in any presidential or midterm cycle since 1980.”

All this forthrightness coming from the talking heads on CNN begs the question: Why? Why is CNN suddenly willing to report accurately on the utter incompetence of Joe Biden, even if it’s only for a few moments on a brief segment?

For those of us who have been hoping that CNN would change its ways, shed its absurdly obvious leftwing bias, and revert to a semi-credible news source, that’s not what we’re seeing. For instance, while it appears that CNN is finally about to fire the far-left buffoon Brian Stelter, that move is a no-brainer, with Stelter proving that he not only lacks ethics, his ratings are equally horrendous.

Additionally, news broke yesterday that the new CEO of CNN, Chris Licht issued a recommendation that on-air personalities stop referring to Donald Trump’s assertions of 2020 Election Fraud as “The Big Lie.” That might ordinarily indicate a shift to neutral by CNN. But then consider that Licht’s request is that they use the terms “Trump election lie” or “election lies” instead. Why not use the word “claim” instead of “lie?” Because CNN is just as biased as they ever were, they’ve just decided to play word games.

No, the reason why CNN and others are starting to report accurately on the dumpster fire known as the Biden Administration is not that they’ve seen the light and are now practicing journalistic integrity, it’s because they see the writing on the wall. They recognize that their cronies in government are going to lose power if they keep their wagon hitched to Biden.

CNN, along with the New York Times, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and others, are taking off the kid gloves with Biden because as Mr. Enten described, Americans aren’t buying what Biden is trying to sell. Yes, inflation can be somewhat cyclical and there is a multitude of factors that affect it, but Joe Biden is wholly responsible for our current economic mess, and Americans know it. It’s probably too late for the left and their media to save the November midterms, but they are likely looking ahead to 2024 and whether Biden will decide to run for a second term. Accordingly, many of them have clearly decided they need to throw Joe under the bus… and it’s about time.
