Musk Breaks Twitter Silence With This Unexpected Photo!

Elon Musk, who is usually very active on Twitter most days, disappeared from social media for a nine day hiatus, prompting his followers to trend #Where’sElon and speculate as to the reasoning behind his disappearance.

But Musk suddenly sprang back onto Twitter sphere today by posting a very unexpected photograph with Pope Francis. The billionaire, who has previously declared himself an atheist, posted “Honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday” along with a photo of himself and four of his five teenage sons.

His fifth child who was born Xavier, but now wants to be known as Jenna Wilson, announced she was transgender last month and expressed a desire to distance herself from her biological father. Wilson’s announcement came a few weeks after Musk had declared himself a Republican and said the Democrats had moved too far left.

Musk, 50, who is wearing a black suit and grey tie in the photo as he stands next to the Pope joked “my suit looked tragic” in response to a Twitter user who mocked the image.

His sons, Griffin, 18, and 16-year-old triplets Damian, Kai and Saxon stood to the Pope’s left. Musk split with their mother, Canadian author Justine Wilson in 2008.

The couple’s first son, Nevada, died of sudden infant death syndrome at 10 weeks old in 2002.

He has two more children – X Æ A-Xii and Exa Dark Sideræl with Canadian singer, Grimes.

Musk was not raised Catholic. He was baptized and did attend a Sunday School in South Africa, where he was born but he has publicly said in the past that he doesn’t have any religious beliefs.

“I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated. There’s some great wisdom in the teachings of Jesus, and I agree with those teachings,” he Tweeted in January during an online discussion with Babylon Bee.

“Things like ‘turn the other cheek’ are very important, as opposed to ‘an eye for an eye’. An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. 

“Forgiveness is important and treating people as you would wish to be treated. ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself.’

“But hey, if Jesus is saving people, I mean, I won’t stand in His way. 

“Sure, I’ll be saved. Why not?”

It is not yet known why the Tesla CEO met with the Pope or what he discussed with him in the meeting.

He also posted a tribute to YouTube gaming streamer, Technoblade, who left an online message for his 12 billion subscribers before he died of cancer this week at the age of 23:

“This made me realize that cancer is an absurd piece of literal garbage and death, but also try to live your best life with people who know. They could die the following day and you would regret not doing things with them,” reads the message along with a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Musk commented “wise words from SJM”.

He also posted a photo of him and his first wife, British actress Talulah Riley celebrating his 40th birthday in Rome dressed in Venetian masks.

“Venice, a site of Great Remembrance,” he captioned the image, adding, “Feeling … perhaps … a little bored?”
