Amber Heard’s Sister Said She DID Cut Johnny Depp’s Finger Off in Unsealed Court Docs

Unsealed court documents have revealed that Amber Heard’s sister told her boss she witnessed her sister cutting Depp’s finger off with a vodka bottle, despite the actress denying his claims.

The documents which were made public last weekend provide an account of an interaction between Heard’s sister, Whitney Henriquez and her boss, Jennifer Howell who were in the same building as Depp and Heard when the incident allegedly happened.

The recently released documents have revealed further details about the incident which seem to suggest Depp was telling the truth.

According to Howell, she heard Henriquez scream “she’s cut off his God damn finger” from another room in the complex where the group had been staying in Australia while Depp filmed Pirate of the Caribbean 5 in 2015.

“I was sitting exactly where I’m sitting right now because I’m sitting at my desk in the office. So I was sitting right here on my computer, working, in my zone, responding, doing whatever I was doing,” Howell recounted to Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez.

“And right over there, there were two black-and-white chairs at the time with a table in between it. Whitney was sitting in one of the black-and-white chairs.

“There’s a door that goes out right over there as well, and she just screamed, ‘She’s done it now. She’s cut off his God damn finger,’ and made this huge proclamation. And I pushed my chair back. I was like, ‘What?’

“And she goes, ‘She cut off his finger. She cut off his finger.’ And then she bolted out the door and was like, ‘I got to call somebody. I got to call somebody.’

“And she went out the door and she called someone. I don’t know who she called. That’s what was said.”

Vasquez asked who Howell was referring to and she replied, “it was Amber and Johnny”.

And she apparently had thrown a bottle and cut off his finger, is what she reported when she came back in from whoever she talked to outside.”

While Depp claimed throughout the six-week defamation trial insisted that a furious Heard had hurled a heavy, glass vodka bottle at his hand, resulting in the complete severance of his finger. Heard denied the allegations, claiming that a drunken Depp had purposefully injured his own hand.

According to the Edward Scissorhands star, Heard had picked up a bottle and flung it at him during a drunken argument. He said the bottle “made contact” and “shattered everywhere”.

“I didn’t feel the pain at first at all,” he continued.

I felt no pain whatsoever. I felt heat and I felt as if something were dripping down my hand. And then I looked down and realized that the tip of my finger had been severed, and I was looking directly at my bones sticking out.”

Depp received emergency surgery to re-attach the severed digit.

During the course of the trial which eventually ruled in Depp’s favor, ordering Heard to pay $10 million in damages, an expert hand surgeon testified on behalf of Depp.

Dr Richard Gilbert, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hands said that Heard’s account of his Depp supposedly sustained the injury by smashing a phone against a wall was “highly unlikely”.

Instead, Gilbert said in his opinion, Depp’s finger sustained a “sharp laceration” consistent with the claim that a broken bottle had been the cause.
