WOW: Veteran Cop Fired for Associating with Roger Stone Hits Back by Vowing MASSIVE Lawsuit

Officer Sal Greco was a veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD) who served the people of New York City since 2008, mostly while on the city’s traffic task force. He is also an associate of former Trump advisor Roger Stone, one of the Team Trump personnel most hated by the far-left radicals that hold the MAGA movement in such contempt.

That personal association became a problem for officer Greco because Stone was persecuted and prosecuted for “lying to Congress,” and sentenced to 40 months in prison before his sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump.

That problem stemmed from an NYPD rule prohibiting officers from associating with known felons, something that the NYPD claims Officer Greco did when he worked as a security guard for Mr. Stone on January 6th. The two were seen together in DC on that day. The New York Daily News, reporting on the two men, said:

“An NYPD officer was caught on camera palling around with longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone and some members of the far-right Oath Keepers militia outside a Washington, D.C. hotel hours before the deadly U.S. Capitol siege, the Daily News has learned.”

Officer Greco was both seen on video talking on a cellphone while in the vicinity of Stone and was next to Stone in a picture, as can be seen in the tweet below:

Mr. Stone also gave Officer Greco a shout-out in an article following his sentence being commuted by then President Trump, saying, in part “I would be remiss without mentioning … NYPD officer Sal Greco who helped when off duty.

Well, as could be predicted given the left’s hatred of Trump and his associates, the NYPD decided to go on the warpath against Officer Greco for associating with Mr. Stone despite Mr. Stone’s sentence having been commuted, with Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell firing Officer Greco on Monday of this week. That followed Officer Greco having been hit with internal NYPD charges stemming from his association with Mr. Stone back in April, namelyconduct prejudicial to the good order and efficiency of the department.”

But while the NYPD is doing the best it can to punish Officer Greco, he hasn’t been cowed. Rather, he’s fighting back, highlighting his sterling years of service and noting that the “association with a known felon” rule hasn’t been fairly applied, as shown by Mayor Eric Adams, himself a veteran NYPD officer, associating with known felon Mike Tyson.

And so Officer Greco has bravely vowed to fight that blatantly unfair, biased application of the rule in a statement, saying:

The reason that the NYPD is treating me differently in this case is simply because of my support for President Donald Trump and my friendship with Roger Stone. This action against me is politically motivated and illegal. This unequal treatment will be addressed in the courts.”

He added that “Under the law Eric Adams and I must be treated equally therefore I will be filing a $25 million lawsuit against the New York Police Department.

Stone, for his part, highlighted Officer Greco’s case as an example of a leftist entity going after a man for daring to be a supporter of President Trump, saying:

Sal Greco is only being fired because he is a supporter of President Trump and a friend of mine. I predict the New York Police Department will settle this suit because your current mayor cannot stand being under oath in an open court room.

“New York Daily News has particularly highlighted a number of the mayors’ current associations with shady convicted felons. I’m anxious to hear what the mayor has to say about that under oath.”

We’ll see what happens but, as of now, it looks like Officer Greco has an excellent case, as Eric Adams wasn’t punished for palling around with Mike Tyson, a very-well known felon, but Officer Greco has had the book thrown at him for daring to associate with a former Trump advisor.
