I do not know about you, but after Devin Nunes announced that John Rich’s song, Progress, was the first to be launched only on Truth Social and Rumble, and that it immediately shot to number one on I-Tunes, I paid more attention to this genre of art, and I took comfort in knowing that there were millions of others for whom Rich’s words rang so true.
Next, I listened to a song called God We Need You Now by Struggle Jennings and Caitlynne Curtis. I follow John Rich now on TruthSocial, and he brought this song to my attention. I am not a religious person, but it made me cry. Nevertheless, I listened again and again, and I started telling my friends to listen to this song too, and to Progress. I find it very poignant that such a strong and tough-looking man as Struggle Jennings is seeking guidance from God in these troubled times, and Caitlynne Curtis’ voice will make you drop to your knees. A friend who I asked to listen to God We Need You Now texted back about Aaron Lewis’ song, Am I the Only One. This one grows on me each time I listen to it, as opposed to God I need You Now, which bowled me over the first time I heard it.
I have also listened to an Englishwoman who reviews music and whose audience asked her to review God I Need You Now during her live streaming. She only made it through the first minute, stopping once or twice to give her commentary, before she melted down in tears. This shows me how the destruction of all that was good about America, and the curtailing of our freedoms affect those in other free countries. I think this is because freedom-loving people worldwide have lived through the trauma of the pandemic, the deaths, the fear, and the shutdowns which destroyed so many livelihoods, but these people, too, rely on America to safeguard the free world from such tyranny, past, present, and future.
So Biden’s thugs, beware. You have been apprised through “Progress” that…
We’ve figured it out,
We ain’t backing down,
and through “Am I the Only One” that many are willing to fight to preserve our culture, show respect to our great flag and to a proud heritage as a country which gained it’s independence from a tyrannical, not duly elected, government. And take heed… “taxation without representation” and your 87,000 new IRS agents could play into the historically apt, and now timely, battle cry.
Through “God We Need You Now,” we learn that
We have been dancing with the Devil far to long, and that it is time to see the truth…
This puppet show stays on because of you;
…YOU who do nothing, keeping your hands in front of your eyes so as not to see the usurpation of our rights and freedom, as well as YOU, who fall in line with the government thugs.
