Alec Baldwin, the disgraced actor who shot and killed a staff member on the set of the movie “Rust”, is now claiming to be the victim in his latest interview.
Baldwin shot and killed a staffer when his prop gun discharged in the direction of the behind-the-scenes movie crew, killing one member of the staff.
Baldwin, in an interview with CNN, revealed that he now lives his life in fear that Trump supporters may be commanded to find and kill the famous actor as an act of retaliation.
“The former president of the United States said he (Baldwin) probably shot her on purpose,” Baldwin began.
“To me [that] was really the only time that I needed – that I was worried about what was going to happen because here was Trump who instructed people to commit acts of violence and he was pointing the finger at me and saying I was responsible for the death.”
“One thousand percent, I’m nervous that a bunch of people who were instructed by the former president to go to the Capital – and they killed a law enforcement officer -and you don’t think that I think to myself, are some of those people gonna come and kill me?”
What a crazy turn of events, that after killing a woman, Baldwin has the guts to say that he is a victim and he lives in fear of the former president of the United States and his voters every day.
Clearly, Baldwin did not mean to kill the woman that was the victim of the accidental shooting on October 21, 2021.
In the aftermath, however, he has continued to shift blame onto other people in an attempt to gain sympathy by playing the victim in an incident where he may be anything but an innocent bystander.
Here is Baldwin’s wild explanation for who was responsible for the killing on October 21.
“Someone put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property. Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me,” Baldwin explained.
When the actor was asked whether he pulled the trigger at any point, Baldwin responded “no, no, no, no, no. I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them.”
The FBI, for their part, tested Baldwin’s claim that the gun was fired without the pulling of the trigger.
“It could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger,” the FBI report concluded on the matter after an extensive test on accidental discharges with the firearm in question.
Baldwin used his platform to advocate for gun control reform, because he believes that he should never have been in a situation where live bullets could be present in the first place.
“The very childhoods of our kids interrupted by this insanity,” Baldwin began in an Instagram post. “We regulate many things in this country in the interest of public safety. Drugs, cars, professional licenses, etc. We need gun control reform. Now.”
This turn of events is completely insane, but was always foreseeable in a world where Donald Trump’s name is used as a get-out-of-jail-free card baby many leftists who have done wrong. It seems that the left can be distracted by any misdeed at the drop of a hat, if the perpetrator simply aims the blame at the former president.
