A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly subjecting children to disgusting punishments of his choice. According to reports, he forced children aged 5 to 11 to eat their feces and drink urine. In addition, he forced some children to hit others with baseball bats after attaching thumbtacks to them.
This man, identified as 33-year-old Kevin Grant, was arrested in 2020 with his wife, 31-year-old Kaitlin Elizabeth Baptiste. He was arrested for abusing his stepson back then, and Baptise was arrested as an accomplice. He had continuously assaulted the child, compelling him to kneel on tacks, drink hot sauce for hours, and even locked him up in a closet for months.

On the 13th of May, a woman reported the recent abuse to the authorities, identifying herself as the foster mother of four children who were abused by Grant and Baptise again. She added that she only recently found out about the alleged abuse as two children only confided in her recently.
She said she was taking the two children who spoke out to McDonald’s, and a little boy who needed to get stitches was mentioned on the radio. The first child, who was only identified as a female, burst into tears, then the other child, a male, urged her to reveal what happened to their foster mother. In the affidavit, the female child was referred to as JV1 and the male as JV2. The other two children were called JV3 and JV4.
JV2 confessed that they pushed JV3 into a table and blamed it on JV4 when they were still living with Grant. Following this, Grant had allegedly beaten up JV4 to a pulp. He beat the boy with a belt to a point when his legs failed him, then proceeded to throw him into a closet and keep him locked there.
The foster mother also added that the children said JV4 was forced to use a box for his bathroom needs in that period.
She added, “JV1 and JV2 began to hysterically cry and told me that [REDACTED] (Grant) made JV4 eat the poop out of the box and forced them along with [REDACTED] JV3 to watch JV4 eat his poop. All while [REDACTED] watched and told them this is what happens when you do not behave.”
In addition, JV1 and 2 said they checked up on JV4 and tried to give him milk as he said he was thirsty. However, they were caught by Grant and were also punished. Grant had allegedly beaten JV2 to a pulp as a punishment.
Furthermore, he forced the younger children, JV1 and 2, to beat JV4 with a baseball bat after attaching thumbtacks to it. Baptiste, who witnessed all of this, was amused by it as she kept laughing as Grant abused the children. They also put firecrackers in his pants while he was locked there and set it off to laugh about it.
Grant had allegedly beaten the male children with anything he could lay his hands on out of boredom, completely unprovoked. He made JV4 eat his poop and forced JV3 to drink urine.
In addition, JV2 was also shot with a next gun attached with a tack. The tack stuck on his back and had to be forced out with tweezers. He was also once shot with a BB gun and was rushed to the hospital by his grandmother as he was hit in his buttocks.
Grant has been arrested and placed on a $50,000 bond. He also faces charges of reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child, and intentional cruelty to persons.
