Country star Jason Aldean has parted ways with his public relations firm after a 17 year long relationship due to comments made by his wife on Instagram.
Brittany Aldean, the wife of Jason Aldean, has come under fire for publishing an Instagram post about transgenderism, and her gratitude for the way her parents raised her.
Brittany has said in response to this outrage that her comment was taken “out of context,” and that there was no ill will behind the statement.
“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” Aldean posted. “I love this girly life.”
Jason Aldean agreed in the comments, typing “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, ‘cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”
This exchange, which seems light-hearted and fun in nature, has led to a storm of hate coming the way of the Aldean couple.
The Nashville based public relations firm, The GreenRoom, has now dropped her husband, Jason Aldean, as the firm feels that it no longer is the “best people” for the job.
“Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,” said Tyne Parrish, a co-owner of The GreenRoom in a statement.
“We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music – he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music,” finished Parrish.
Brittany Aldean had made this post in an attempt to promote her new clothing line, called “Don’t Tread On Our Kids.”
The Aldeans have been on the receiving end of stark criticism within the country world after the instagram post went viral.
Cassadee Pope, who claimed her fame by winning The Voice, fought back against Brittany on Twitter.
“You’d think celebs with Beaty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their “tomboy phase” to someone wanting to transition. Real Nice,” replied Pope.

This message came in reply to a tweet from fellow country star Maren Morris, who also took exception to Brittany Aldean’s opinion.
“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie,” wrote Morris.
Following this backlash, Aldean released a statement on Instagram, explaining her love for her children as the reason for her views.
“Advocating for genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming car,’ is of of the worst evils,” she began.
“I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence. Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions.
Thankfully my parents allowed me to go through my tomboy phase without changing my gender. Until then, leave children alone!”
Jason Aldean has yet to comment on this situation, although his wife has stood firmly in her beliefs when is always the right thing to do when the woke mob attacks.
