Watch: No One Likes Pelosi! NYC Music Festival Proves It!

Politics and sports are a bad idea. Politics and family are a bad idea. Politics and music are a terrible idea. The political climate has ruined much of music and sports and Hollywood since 2016, and in New York City Saturday night at the Global Citizen Festival, concertgoers let Nancy Pelosi know exactly how they felt about her hijacking the festivities to promote her far left agenda. Pretty bad when it happens in a lefty place like New York.

Pelosi, 82, was attending the gathering in New York’s Central Park with husband Paul when Chopra Jonas invited her to appear before the crowd of music devotees.

As Pelosi set out plans heading for Congress to tackle climate issues, members of the audience could be heard booing the veteran Democrat even as she expounded on carbon pollution and “climate change.”

And why wouldn’t they boo her? We are bombarded with death, destruction, guilt, gloom and doom over something that is supposed to kill us all if we don’t address it now, while rich leftist elites like John Kerry log insane miles in private jets. The message is mixed, to say the least.

No one in attendance to see Usher, Mariah Carey, the Jonas Brothers or Metallica were there to listen to Pelosi prattle on about climate change for a climate she won’t live to see much longer. Pelosi is 82.

“It’s thanks to your help that the United States recently enacted historic climate legislation, which will be a game changer,” Pelosi said as the jeers carried on,

As the audience grew even more loud in its response, several hecklers are heard yelling “let’s go!” apparently looking for the evening’s entertainment to resume without a politician taking center stage.

There is no other buzzkill at a concert than the artist stopping to talk politics. It literally sucks the air and energy from the room. While you would fully expect that at a Neil Young or Green Day show, Saturday night certainly didn’t seem to be the appropriate setting.

The Post report added Pelosi tried to continue her speech, saying the bill would result in “better water and air for our children” as well as “better-paying jobs and lower energy bills for their parents.”

The California representative can also be heard calling for “better water and air for our children” and “better-paying jobs and lower energy bills for their parents.”

Pelosi calling for things we already have, at an event where no one wanted to see her is pure comedy, in the sense that you have to laugh, or you might go crazy. Pelosi is the most shameless of politicians, hijacking a fun event to promote an agenda that is lining her and her husband Paul’s pockets.

As for the artists performing, I would expect all of them except perhaps the Jonas Brothers to be old enough and experienced enough to not attach themselves to anything overtly political, but I guess when you have made billions of dollars in your career and don’t have to worry about groceries, gas, and the cost of an electric vehicle, you can afford to alienate half of your fanbase, even if you aren’t relevant anymore, like these artists aren’t. The audience reaction to Pelosi is pure gold, and hopefully a hint toward the direction might be leaning in the midterms and beyond.
