Remember when the internet and social media used to be fun? I’m old enough to remember when people actually created funny, creative content for such services as YouTube and Vine. Charlie the Unicorn, Annoying Orange, Llamas with Hats, just a few of the bits people were doing that actually required talent and effort. Now social media, specifically Tik Tok is just a mess of people trying to bait the police and saying and acting inappropriately while filming people’s reactions. You know, stuff that isn’t creative nor funny.
We have a lazy generation that only knows how to stoop to the lowest of lows in order to get a “like” or a laugh. There is no nuance or creativity in going into Walmart and moaning in someone’s ear. That’s just stupid and lazy.
This is where we are sadly, but at least one lazy Tik Tok creep got his comeuppance recently and is likely going to spend some time away from his smart phone.
A self-described “incel” was arrested last week following several incidents in which the suspect recorded himself harassing and pepper-spraying women in Orange County, California.
Johnny Deven Young, 25, was detained by San Mateo County authorities and charged with four felony counts of assault with great bodily injury, four felony counts of illegal use of tear gas, four felony use of a deadly weapon enhancements, eight felony hate crime enhancements, and five misdemeanor counts of violation of civil rights.

That’s quite a potential rap sheet that Johnny is going to have. Was it worth it? Are his Tik Tok friends going to start a “free Johnny” movement? Not likely, as they will just move on to the next jackass.
Incel means involuntarily celibate. Hard to imagine that women don’t find him dateable, considering his unseemly hijinks.
The first incident occurred at a local bar in November and involved a 29-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man.
Costa Mesa police said that the suspect was “verbally harassing” the woman and using “explicit language, saying he wanted to see her genitals, and asked to have sexual relations with her.”
Another man noticed the confrontation and ran over to help the woman. At that point, Young allegedly assaulted the man and the woman with pepper spray. Young fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.
So creative and edgy! One can only imagine the fertile mind that cooked up this angle to get approval on social media. Unfortunately, this behavior is all too common online. It’s hard enough being a man in 2022 as it is without brain dead morons like this making it even harder.
Police discovered Young’s social media accounts, which revealed a pattern of harassing women, recording the encounters, and posting the footage online.
Young posted a video to social media recording himself following a woman through a parking garage while verbally harassing her. A separate incident in the same video showed Young approaching several women at a retail shopping center and asking them vulgar questions.
Police stated that Young has a history of harassing and stalking women near clubs, bars, and gyms.
What a great guy. It’s small wonder no woman wants to sleep with him. Emphasis on “small” wonder. Clearly a man that feels like this is the right way to treat a woman, even if they are trying to garner internet fame isn’t mentally fit to walk among free society. Even in California.
Young could face up to 13 years in prison if convicted of all charges, which is my sincere hope. Perhaps being in prison and being treated like a woman will help him learn to respect the opposite sex.
