Pelosi faces backlash after insensitive ‘pick crops’ commentary (video)

Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was talking about a workplace shortage and said there are farmers who want to know why Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis are shipping migrants to Martha’s Vineyard when there’s a labor shortage and those immigrants might be needed to pick crops or work on Florida farms. Pelosi faced backlash for the insensitive comments.

Pelosi does not appear happy that Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis shipped migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, so this is her commentary regarding the farmers, but it’s unclear if she actually talked to any real farmers in Florida. Did anyone actually say this or is Nancy Pelosi creating a narrative with her comments?

Democrats were slammed for having migrants shipped out of Martha’s Vineyard very quickly. The migrants sent to Martha’s Vineyard were already kicked out and sent elsewhere on buses. Emilie Ikeda reported the following and posted a video to go with it: “HAPPENING NOW: Migrants, flown into Martha’s Vineyard by Fl’s governor, are boarding buses. They’ll be heading to Joint Base Cape Cod, according to officials. 125 Mass National Guard members are being activated to assist.”

In Martha’s Vineyard, the people proudly lived up to their sign beliefs, celebrating “hate has no home here” and “no human is illegal” as they welcomed 50 illegal aliens sent by Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), just a few days ago. However, it did not last long as the migrants were shipped out on a bus nearly as fast as they came in.

The website for Martha’s Vineyard proudly touts that they have many options for tourists to stay. “Whether you’re looking for a luxurious hotel to cater to your every need, a romantic or family-friendly spot, or are traveling on a budget – you can find it all on Martha’s Vineyard!” myvy.com states. “With more than 80 lodging options, there’s no shortage of choices. Because we have no chain hotels, each accommodation gives you an authentic Island experience.”

50 migrants should not be a problem. But no. The island couldn’t handle 50 people. Homeless shelter coordinator on the island said it was too much stress for the island to handle. “There is multiple wheels that are turning and departments that are working together,” Lisa Belcastro declared. The buses arrived and the migrants were quickly kicked out, as reported on Daily Wire.

Governor Charlie Baker (R-MA) went as far as activating up to 125 National Guardsmen to deal with the illegal aliens. Baker said, “Our Administration has been working across state government to develop a plan to ensure these individuals will have access to the services they need going forward, and Joint Base Cape Cod is well equipped to serve these needs.”

The island’s website clearly mentions, “The Vineyard is home to approximately 17,000 year-round residents. During the summer months, the population increases to nearly 200,000. Sixty-three percent of all homes on the Vineyard are owned by seasonal residents.”

By a margin of 9,763 to 2,610, Martha’s Vineyard voted for the Biden-Harris versus Trump-Pence ticket, according to The Vineyard Gazette. During his campaign, Biden promised to eliminate former President Trump’s illegal immigration policies in the name of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This made the residents of the town vote for him by a wide margin. They do not want to deal with the negative effects of abandoning said policies now that they have seen them firsthand.
