President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has many flaws, but apparently, lacking self-confidence is not one of them. In the seemingly endless drip of informational tidbits from the contents of the younger Biden’s infamous laptop that have come our way, we may conclude that Hunter Biden is a crack-smoking, prostitute-hiring, money-hungry, privileged reprobate. But he sure is confident in his ability to manipulate his unprincipled and opportunistic father.
As first published by the Washington Examiner, an audio file pulled from Hunter’s laptop illustrates just how certain he is of being able to steer his father toward his way of thinking. Here’s a sample of that content:
LISTEN: Hunter Biden says his father, Joe, will “talk about anything that I want him to”

We’ve long suspected that President Joe Biden is susceptible to being swayed by efforts from special interest groups, but the magnitude of his son’s control has been less certain. Hunter’s claims may be merely boasting, but when we consider some of the policy decisions his father has made – particularly with regards to China and Ukraine – we don’t need to connect many dots to conclude that Hunter’s bragging may be based in fact.
Another deduction we can make from the recording is that while Joe and Hunter may indeed have a loving relationship, the president is also very much an enabler. Consider these comments from Hunter reflecting on his dad’s role in supporting him:
“All those fears you think that I have of people not liking me or that I don’t love myself … I don’t fear that. You know why I don’t fear that? Because the man I most admire in the world, that god to me, thinks I’m a god. And my brother did, too. And the three of us, it was literally — I had the support to know I can do anything.”
Is there any doubt that this is indeed the dynamic behind the scenes? Hunter “can do anything,” including not paying taxes, receiving bags of cash from foreign entities that are adversarial to America’s interests, and engaging in reprehensibly hedonistic behavior. Indeed, Hunter can do as he pleases, and daddy will get him off the hook because daddy worships him. Sounds about right.
Are Hunter’s comments merely braggadocio, or is there criminality involved? To date, we know that Hunter is under investigation by the Justice Department, but are any of his influence-peddling shenanigans included? It’s not against the law to try and persuade one’s father, after all. But has the relationship between father and son resulted in more sinister activities?
Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and it is indeed illegal for elected officials to benefit financially from intentionally wielding their influence. And we can smell a lot of smoke coming from Hunter Biden’s direction, and it’s not just from his meth pipe. In the audio, Hunter Biden explains to a potential business partner regarding a business project to market his art:
“You will have attention. I have figured out a long time ago, if you’re going to be involved in politics the way that I am, which is to choose to engage with my father in that life because I believe in what he does — if you’re going to, one of your obligations is to use that platform with intent, is to not allow the platform to sit on top of you. I was on the front page of every newspaper including the f***ing, I mean, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times.”
Yup. “Use that platform with intent.” With the intention of lining one’s pockets. How much longer will it be before Hunter’s house of cards collapses?
