[Watch] Coming Soon To Your Community… Thugs In Philly Brutally Beat Man At Gas Pump

Failure to ensure the rule of law results in lawlessness, and soft-on-crime, leftist policies yield skyrocketing violent crime rates. On the West Coast, San Francisco may be leading the league in this phenomenon, but other cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, and Portland aren’t far behind. In the Midwest, Chicago is the undisputed champion, though St. Louis and Milwaukee appear hellbent on giving them a run for their money. But what about the East Coast?

New York’s new mayor Eric Adams has done his best to continue with predecessor Bill DeBlasio’s horrendous policies, as crime continues to surge in the Big Apple. Murder and mayhem in Baltimore harkens back to the HBO series The Wire (one of the best television series ever, by the way), with life imitating art and resulting in an eerie sensation of déjà vu. And, certainly, Atlanta is no walk in the park either. But there is perhaps no city in the Eastern U.S. more illustrative of blue city crime and the consequences of Democrats’ delusional approach to law enforcement than Philadelphia.

The team at The Blue State Conservative has extensively documented the anarchy taking over the City of Brotherly Love, particularly as it relates to District Attorney Larry Krasner and his “group hug” approach to policing violent crime. But if a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million. And this footage from a recent gas station attack in Philadelphia shows us the real-life effects of leftwing governance related to violent crime. Watch:

We can see the unsuspecting gas station patron filling his tank, likely more agitated with the astronomical price for the fuel than he is concerned about the possibility of being pummeled by a trio of predatory punks.

He’s engaging in an activity to which virtually every one of us can relate. A mundane errand each of us must perform regularly: perhaps once a week, or maybe every other day. But up until the last few years, before our friends on the left continued to push for more liberal policies on crime, and before our naïve friends and neighbors thought it would be a good idea to vote for this increasing insanity, most of us could complete these tasks without fearing for our lives… but not anymore.

As we watch the victim in the video – and for those of you who are so offended by so-called micro-aggressions and various ‘systemic injustices,’ this is what real victimhood looks like – we see him struggle to escape the brutality and run to safety. Yet, we must wonder. This victim appears to be a young adult, probably in the prime of his life, and obviously capable of withstanding the thrashing. But what type of harm would have resulted from this attack if the victim had been elderly? Or what would have happened if the customer had been a young woman?

Clearly, the goons we see in this video are not discriminant when it comes to selecting their target, and in fact, they would most likely prefer a softer target. An old man using a cane? Let’s kick him in the teeth and take his car. A pretty young woman who’s not paying attention? Maybe we should take her along with us.

Philadelphia’s District Attorney Larry Krasner, a Democrat, of course, was duly elected by voters, and he has delivered on his promises. He has gone soft on crime to an extent previously unimaginable. Krasner is more concerned about criminals’ feelings and the need for social justice than he is about protecting his citizens. And this type of viciousness is the predictable result. The criminals we see in this footage are brazen and brutal for one reason: Because they know they can get away with it. Well done, Democrats.
