Knucklehead Of The Week: Of All The Idiotic Responses To SCOTUS And Roe V Wade, Amy Schumer Is Tops

For those of you who care, and we know very few of you do, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (aka Schmucky Chucky) from New York is indeed related to the irritating activist/actress Amy Schumer. The two happen to be cousins. But based on their propensities to say and do moronic things, they might as well be identical twins.

Only six weeks ago, Senator Schumer was recognized as our week’s top knucklehead for forcing members of his party to cast votes on whether to allow abortions up until the time of birth, one of the most extreme and unpopular pro-abortion positions there is. Now they are permanently on the record as being in favor of infanticide. But after yesterday, Cousin Amy may very well have surpassed her nincompoop relative in their family quest for knuckleheadedness supremacy.

Winner: Amy Schumer proclaims SCOTUS vote to overturn Roe V Wade was ‘interpreting the intentions of a bunch of slave-owning rapists who’ve been dead for hundreds of years.’

It doesn’t take much to rile up a leftist to the point they become deranged. Suggest to a lefty that public schools ought to offer classes studying the book responsible for establishing much of Western culture – the Bible – and they might have a mental breakdown. And the mere whisper of “Let’s Go Brandon” in their presence could result in an all-out tirade.

But occasionally, monumental events set off their triggers like ordinary results cannot, and should consider the aftermath of the 2016 election, at which point once it became clear that Hillary Clinton had lost the presidency to Donald Trump, footage of hysterical leftists on the verge of aneurysms was everywhere. Yesterday was another such day.

Incompetent L.A. District Attorney had some really stupid things to say about the Supreme Courts Dobbs V. Jackson case, and naturally so did Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). But when it comes to the most idiotic comments, Ms. Schumer undoubtedly sealed the deal.

According to the Daily Mail, Schumer had this to say:

“We shouldn’t determine our rights by interpreting the intentions of a bunch of slave-owning rapists who’d been dead for hundreds of years. And women’s bodily autonomy should not be determined by men who’ve been accused of sexual assault.”

With just this one statement, particularly the first sentence, Amy Schumer says the quiet part out loud and exposes the true mindset of those on the left, particularly the bloodthirsty Pro-Abortion crowd. That “bunch of slave-owning rapists” Schumer refers to are presumably men like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams. You know, the guys that founded our country and enabled it to blossom into the single greatest nation and society that has ever existed. That jab by Schumer was inane enough. But it’s the content of the rest of her assertion that is particularly revealing.

Amy Schumer has a problem with “interpreting the intentions” of the document that the Supreme Court is governed by. Which is to say, Schumer doesn’t want America restricted by the Constitution. The United States Constitution is one of the greatest documents ever written and helped to establish a society and system of government that has been unparalleled in its standard of living, scientific and industrial innovation, and protection of liberty and human rights.

Indeed, Amy Schumer doesn’t want America to be hamstrung by trivialities such as the Constitution because that means she might not get what she wants. Following the Constitution means her side might lose legal arguments. In Amy Schumer’s mind, along with the majority of the other leftists and rioters who went rampaging last night, the Constitution is only acceptable when it aligns with their worldview.

When the Constitution is interpreted to favor immigration, gay marriage, or the restriction of gun rights, leftists like Amy Schumer love the Constitution. But the minute something doesn’t go their way, look out. Hell hath no fury like Amy Schumer scorned.

Honorable Mention #1: Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer promises to stand up for the abortion rights of “menstruating people.”

The left’s insistence to push this ‘men can be pregnant’ bizarreness can be really funny, but it can also be Orwellian. It’s reminiscent of ‘wrongthink’ from the novel 1984. But more importantly, for the moment, it’s also going to become increasingly damaging to the left and their political aspirations. Consider this statement from Whitmer on Wednesday:

“Number one: I have the constitutional ability to bring a lawsuit to protect constitutional rights of people of Michigan. So, I brought a lawsuit on behalf of all the menstruating people in Michigan.”

So, in one breath, Whitmer is trying to play to the feminist, Pro-Abortion base by professing her embrace of abortion. But in the next breath, she wants to make sure she doesn’t offend the radicals in the LGBTQ mob. Ultimately, Whitmer ends up sounding like a clown, and inevitably silliness like this is going to cost Democrats elections. No one is buying this nonsense, Gretchen. It’s absurd and it’s unsustainable. And Americans are rapidly deciding that Democrats like you are out of your minds.

Honorable Mention #2: Jussie Smollet won’t go away, explains what it would mean if he had really committed the hoax he was convicted of,

In an interview on a leftwing podcast this week, disgraced race-bating hoaxer Jussie Smollett explained that if he had really been responsible for orchestrating the hoax for which he was convicted – which he was and is – that would mean “I’d be a piece of shit.”

Finally, Jussie, you’ve said something truthful and on which we can all agree. Well done.
