Howard Stern Bashes Clarence Thomas, Considering Running For President

Back in the late 1990s, I was a frequent listener to the Mark and Brian show and of Radio shock jock Howard Stern’s daily broadcast on KLOS-FM, which was broadcasting out of the Los Angeles metro area.

This was prior to Stern heading over to satellite radio, and during a time when he could get away with pushing the FCC to its breaking point without the radio station, which was making a fortune from his ratings, being forced to give him the boot in lieu of losing their very expensive broadcast license.

Stern who back then was a vocal libertarian challenging the establishment wherever possible, similar to Bill Maher, has in recent years done a 180 and now is the antithesis of what he used to complain about.

On Monday Stern blasted Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and even threatened to run for president after the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“Party like it’s 1959,” Stern said on his SiriusXM show, mocking the 6-3 decision as though the court by correcting a terrible, colluded, unsubstantiated 1973 ruling, was taking the nation back to the 1950s culture.

In what was an unintended swipe at the Democratic party, Stern implied that Clarence Thomas, who currently is the only black Justice sitting on the Supreme Court, better be careful in overturning current laws, because they might return the USA to a time of overt racism in the Democratic Jim Crow Laws South.

“I hope they roll it all the way back to slavery and then they slap him on a plantation,” said co-host Robin Quivers, who, like Thomas, is black.

“The whole mess we’re in with that lightweight, Clarence Thomas, who’s been sitting there like Darth Vader, dormant, waiting for other kooks to join the Supreme Court and waiting and waiting through the decades,” Stern said.

Stern joked he might run for president to do away with the Electoral College.

He pointed out that Hillary got more popular votes than Donald Trump did in 16, yet lost.

“This is Trump’s legacy. I hope he’s happy. Back-alley abortions,” Stern said. “The country is not bad. This Taliban government that has gotten in, is by the minority.”

Again, he’s apparently unaware that Democrats control the White House and both chambers of Congress.

In another ignorant statement, Stern loosely implied that abortions are a bedroom issue; “Do you want to start regulating the bedroom?” Stern said Monday. “We were past all this and we still are.”

Well actually, abortion is a medical surgery that only has one purpose. Mothers pay to have a medical doctor, kill their baby in order to remove the “inconvenience” of being pregnant, if medical tests indicate the unborn baby has down syndrome, etc.

Many women are using abortion as birth control, leading to several visits to the clinics, to kill their unwanted children.

It’s not the first time Stern has joked about running for the Oval office.

Last November, he said he might have to challenge Trump in 2024, doing his civic duty.

“’ I think I’m going to run for president,’ he said with just the slightest hint of seriousness,” the Daily News reported at the time.

Robin chimed in:

“If Trump decided to run again, you have to run against him. That’s my plan,” she said. “That’s what’s going to have to happen. We can’t leave it to the Democrats.”

I personally have not listened to Howard Stern since 2001, as he was and still appears to be too vile of a human being for any decent person to listen to on a regular basis.
