In spite of their rhetoric, progressives who insist they are trying to unite Americans and help the economically disadvantaged, women and children, are in fact pushing an agenda that hurts these groups the most.
In many homes, the cost of owning and driving automobiles is a significant part of the family’s monthly budget. So, when the Biden administration decided to attack their lives by driving up the costs of fuel, trying to force them to buy electric vehicles, they in return, turned on Joe, causing his approval numbers to drop into the low 30s.
President Biden’s economic approval ratings have hit a record low for his presidency — and surpassed the lowest ratings of the previous two presidents.
A CNBC All-America Economic survey put Biden’s economic approval rating at 30 percent, 5 points below a previous survey in April.
That number is 11 points below the low for former President Trump and 7 points below the lowest for former President Obama.
The current push for zero emissions was also part of the Obama administration’s agenda but Biden’s team has gone for the full monte as though the GOP no longer exists in the U.S. Congress.
The unqualified and clueless Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg testified that the pain from high gas prices has increased the benefit for electric car owners, but then tried to deny that he’d said it.
For former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, made the comments on Tuesday before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. He was being questioned by Republican Rep. Carlos Giménez of Florida about the efficiency of electric vehicles when he made the admission.
“You would agree that the higher the price of gas, the faster you reach that parity?” asked Giménez.
“Of course, the more pain we are all experiencing from the high price of gas, the more benefit there is for those who can access electric vehicles. That’s why we’re hoping you and your colleagues might reconsider opposing the reduction of EV upfront prices and tax credits.”
“So, you’re saying the more pain we have, the more benefit we’re gonna get? I think that’s what I heard you say,” Giménez asked.
“No! That’s what you heard me say?” Buttigieg laughed nervously. “I know you want me to say it so bad, but honestly sir, what we’re saying is that we could have no pain at all by making EVs cheaper for everybody, and we’d love to have your support on that.”
Pete was also grilled on the implication he made that people could buy an electric car in order to avoid high gas prices.
Video of their interaction:
The Biden administration’s lack of empathy for Americans struggling to pay the rapidly increasing prices of products due to over 9% inflation, resembles past fascist governments who for the sake of their state, were willing to sacrifice their citizen’s quality of life, for the “better good”.
The other absurd issue with the administration’s urgent push for Americans to switch to electric vehicles is the fact that the U.S. power grid can’t produce enough electricity to charge millions of additional electric vehicles in the aftermath of the transformation.
As I see it, Americans have two options moving forward.
We can let our government destroy the America we all know and love, or we can fight back collectively to preserve life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
If we choose the latter, it will come as a result of us voting together starting in November.
