Chris Wallace, the long-forgotten sufferer of narcissism and TDS, can’t be too pleased with his fading legacy at Fox News. His old stomping grounds, the studio at Fox News Sunday, has named Shannon Bream as his permanent replacement, all but ensuring his total erasure.
Bream is the complete package and in her first show will cement the clueless Wallace as completely obsolete. Gorgeous, talented, insightful, and unlike Wallace, someone who puts America first. She has a no-nonsense approach that seeks truth above ideology, something Wallace also lost the ability to do long ago.
In an era everything is reduced to skin color and sex, Fox News broke the story by celebrating the Sunday show’s new host as the first female anchor in its twenty-six-year run. The irony is that Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott made the call. In other words, a female CEO – let me repeat: A FEMALE CEO – pegged a woman to hos the show and lauded it. If women can run corporate media networks, suffice to say hosting just one of countless shows isn’t breaking any glass ceilings or smashing the patriarchy.
Regardless of her sex, Bream brings a top-knotch skillset to her new Sunday programming. Fox provided a brief overview of her past and current assignments.
“Bream will also continue to be the network’s chief legal correspondent. She has provided coverage of all major Supreme Court decisions for Fox News Channel since joining in 2007.
Bream’s time serving a [sic] guest host for Fox’s signature Sunday morning political talk show has been wildly successful, as she has outdrawn the 2021 average audience of the show by 20%. “FOX News Sunday” airs on FOX network with encore presentations on Fox News Channel.
Her January appearance in the anchor chair was the highest-rated “FOX News Sunday” episode of 2022. In June, she gained 37% of viewers in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54 and the FNC encore presentation of her show had a larger audience than anything CNN or MSNBC aired on Sunday among total viewers.”
I have no doubt Bream will return a little moire prestige to the ailing Fox network, which has suffered from a huge reduction in trust after dismally reporting on the 2020 election (for example, calling Arizona almost immediately), allowing Wallace to embarrass himself as a debate moderator, refusing to host Donald Trump as a guest, earning most ad revenue from Big Pharma – thus staying mostly silent regarding withheld COvid treatment protocols and vaccine injuries – and putting up patsy hosts save for a few brave voices like Tucker Carlson and perhaps Bream herself.
Bream might not be able to save the network, but another solid conservative voice is never a bad idea.
