Deranged Leftists Lose Their Minds After Kyle Rittenhouse Takes A Selfie With Cops

This is still America, right? You know, land of the free, home of the brave?

People are still innocent until proven guilty and all that good stuff, right?

Ok, just checking. It seems lately that even if someone is exonerated, either by a jury, or by charges being dismissed for whatever reason, they are still stained and marked permanently by the left.

Take president Trump for instance. Impeached twice, investigated for Russian collusion, investigated for tax evasion, all with no proof, and often just stuff straight made up by the left. Yet, to most libs, Trump is evil incarnate. Makes no sense, but neither does the leftist mindset.

Recently a police department in Texas found out the hard way that the left only approves of certain people. However, the department clapped back! Let’s get the details from the Washington Examiner:

A Texas police department is defending itself amid online backlash after an officer shared a photograph of himself with Kyle Rittenhouse.

The Thrall Police Department, which serves a small city around 40 miles outside Austin, posted the selfie on Facebook.

“Make those stops, you never know who you might meet. Today it was Kyle Rittenhouse, welcome to Texas,” the post’s caption initially read.

So, what’s the problem here? Is Kyle Rittenhouse NOT a free man? It was proven in a court of law that Rittenhouse did nothing wrong and acted in self-defense during the Kenosha BLM riots of 2020. Rittenhouse was simply a young man that felt a civic duty to defend his adopted hometown and assist in protecting private businesses.

The left still insists on treating Rittenhouse like a criminal and pariah, despite his innocence. Typical from the party of love and tolerance.

The acrimony on social media from the left was typical.

“Is this a joke? You’re welcoming a known killer into our state? This is completely disgusting,” Phoenix Woods wrote in the comments.

“Sick you are making him out as a hero,” Kari Ashpaugh commented. “Shame on your officer and this department.”

“What a joke of a police department,” Nai Roberts stated.

Ah, tolerance at its best, no? Whether these are residents of the city, or Texans, or just paid trolls and agitators remains to be seen, but the level of idiocy in their complaints suggests they are people I wouldn’t want to have a beer, or pumpkin spiced latte with, or take a selfie with. Unlike Kyle Rittenhouse. I’d buy that young man a beer and take a selfie with him any day. You know, once he’s old enough to drink.

So how did the police department respond? Often, we see people disavow and apologize when pressured from the left. Generally, the apologies are forced and hollow, but still apologies. What did this Texas department do? Clapped back, Texas style!

Within a few hours, the department received a slew of criticism in the post’s comments, prompting it to add: “I must have missed something, I believed that this young man was arrested, charged, indicted and then found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Is this not how our country works anymore? The hate in these comments is terrible, if you have information that is contrary to that I would honestly love to hear it.”

The Thrall Police Department post garnered more than 1,700 comments, 1,700 shares, and 11,000 likes as of Monday morning.

BOOM! Savage response from the Thrall PD. They are one hundred percent correct. Rittenhouse did nothing more than defend his own life, and a jury of his peers agreed. End of story. Unfortunately, the left isn’t interested in facts so much as pushing their own destructive narrative.

Sadly, for the left, the fine men and women of the Thrall Police Department weren’t playing. No word yet on whether any contrary information on the Rittenhouse case was forwarded to the Thrall police.
