“We’ve Been Voting Dem for 59 Years”: Charles Barkey SOUNDS OFF on Dems for Failing Blacks in Epic Interview [WATCH]

One thing about America’s partisan divide and how race comes to play in it that would hardly make any sense at all to an outside observer not familiar with blacks voting Democrat simply because they’ve always done so is that so large a proportion of the black community votes Democrat.

Despite the hellish conditions in inner-city areas run by Democrats for decades and made all the worse by the current soft on crime, anti-police push that Democrats have adopted, around 90 percent or so of blacks continue voting Democrat. It makes no sense, yet it continues to happen.

Or, as Kanye West put it in his song “Ye vs. the People,” “See that’s the problem with this damn nation. All Blacks gotta be Democrats, man, we ain’t made it off the plantation“.

Well, though Kanye woke up to that fact years ago, many of his fellow blacks haven’t, or at least haven’t spoken out about it publically. Now one guy, Charles Barkley, is.

That’s not to say he likes Republicans. But he’s still waking up to the problems posed by and created by the death grip the Democrats have on blacks. Watch that here:

The key bit there is where he comments on how bad things have stayed for decades despite Democrats promising to fix everything year after year, saying:

I voted Democratic my entire life […] and I’m starting to think, ‘Man, everyone in my hometown is still poor. Man, all the black neighborhoods are still poor. They’re all going to sh*tty schools, and we’ve been voting Democratic for 59 years. […] If you’re waiting on these political parties to make your life better, you’re just wrong.”

Now, there’s no cause to get too excited. Chances are, Barkley and others who think like him will vote Democrat this fall, as most blacks continue to do despite the sheer insanity of their doing so.

But, at the very least, it’s a step forward for those like Trump and JD Vance who are technically within the GOP but obviously think much differently about things than the corporate types.

Rather than wanting tax cuts for corporations and free trade that decimates manufacturing cities all across America, whether black cities like Detroit or white ones like Youngstown, those guys have their heads screwed on straight and can potentially present a convincing case to people like Barkley who are fed up with the Democrats but hardly want to vote for some Mitt Romney-type loser that will just make things even worse.

And, if nothing else, at least Barkley speaking out on the subject will remind those blacks that listen to him that they don’t have to vote Democrat just because they have been doing so for so many decades.

There are other parties, other candidates, other ideas out there that might not fail them in the same miserable way that Democrats have done for so many years.

But that’s assuming that they can get past the Democrat “everyone else is racist” line, which seems unlikely. But at least this is a start.
