Guys are sneaky, aren’t they ladies? History is simply full of crafty dude’s saying what they think the ladies want to hear. And why not? While straightforward honesty is always the best policy, anyone that has been in a relationship knows you have to say things on occasion that you might not one hundred percent believe. There’s no crime in that, unless of course you are committing a crime obviously, but it’s fact: men will say what they think you want to hear in order to get what they want.
When men act like that relationally it’s one thing, but when you act like that, and your job is to create public policy, it’s entirely another. John Fetterman is a perfect example. Fetterman, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Pennsylvania attempts to portray himself as just a regular Joe. With his hoodies and sweatpants, Fetterman tries to portray a persona of a guy you could have a beer with. Pretty far from the truth actually. Fetterman is from a wealthy family and has never had a real job outside of politics. He is running against Dr Oz for the open Senate seat, and recently rebranded himself in one of the most embarrassing displays of pandering I have ever seen. Prepare to cringe. Check this out from Breitbart:
Pennsylvania Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman declared himself “FetterWoman” at a pro-abortion rally on Sunday where he promised to codify Roe v. Wade.
Standing before a pink and black “Women for Fetterman” sign at a rally in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, Fetterman unveiled a pink shirt emblazoned with the label “FetterWoman” across the chest.
The shirts immediately went on sale on Fetterman’s campaign website.

Who comes up with this stuff? For real? How unbelievably undignified, and cringeworthy. Fetterwoman? Is Dr Oz going to skip down the yellow brick road to the ballot box? Or is Oz busy, you know, being a Dr and trying to affect real change for Pennsylvania.
Cool shirt idea though. So, what we have from Fetterman is a guy saying whatever he thinks women want to hear, attempting to look like an everyday Joe, and selling these women merch from his website. The pandering is an all-time low.
“Women are the reason we can win. Let me say that again: Women are the reason we win.” Fetterman told the crowd.
“Don’t piss women off,” he added.
Fetterman then pointed his attack at his opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, characterizing him as a pro-life extremist.
“This decision: should [it] be made up to Dr. Oz? Or to a woman and a real doctor, to choose?” Fetterman asked the crowd.
Well John, Oz is a brain surgeon, and that’s about as real of a doctor as you can get, though I expect he would come back to you with bad news if he examined you.
I certainly hope Pennsylvania’s voters will be smart enough to look at the big picture and all the issues rather than allowing Fetterwoman to pound on the issue of abortion. He is in favor up to moment of birth, even though the overwhelming national consensus shows most people think there should be limits. Oz certainly isn’t the extremist here.
“Oz believes abortion is murder… No exceptions: rape or incest… If every abortion is a murder, that means Dr. Oz considers every woman who had to choose abortion is a killer,” Fetterman added.
Oz’s campaign said in response that the candidate does “support exceptions to abortion bans in cases of rape, incest and to save the life of the mother,”
Pretty standard stuff: whip the women into a frenzy with lies and half truths about the opponents’ views, then say exactly what the people want to hear with the rhetoric dialed up to 10. And a t shirt to boot.
John Fetterman is an embarrassment and a shameful pander-bear. Here’s hoping the women of Pennsylvania are smarter than Fetterwoman thinks they are.
