Epstein Associated Prince Andrew Pressed for Proof He Can’t Sweat, as That’s His Outlandish Defense against Child Rape Allegations

Now that Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty and an American judge has opened the door to Virginia Giuffre’s suit against Epstein associate Prince Andrew, her lawyers are pressing him even harder, now demanding that he show evidence of his inability to sweat.

You see, Guiffre, in her allegations against Prince Andrew, claimed that she distinctly remembered him sweating profusely while at a nightclub with her in 2001, an event that occurred before one of the three times that he allegedly raped her.

Prince Andrew, however, has claimed that Guiffre is lying, and that his inability to sweat proves it.

He first made that odd defense during a 2019 BBC interview, claiming that his medical inability to sweat proves that Guiffre is lying and he is truthful in claiming that he doesn’t know her and never raped her. Specifically, he had this to say at the time:

“There’s a slight problem with the sweating because I have a peculiar medical condition which is that I don’t sweat or I didn’t sweat at the time and that was… was it… yes, I didn’t sweat at the time because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands War when I was shot at and I simply… it was almost impossible for me to sweat.

And it’s only because I have done a number of things in the recent past that I am starting to be able to do that again. So I’m afraid to say that there’s a medical condition that says that I didn’t do it so therefore…”

He’s not exactly masterful with words. Nor are Ms. Guiffre’s lawyers as quick to give in to Prince Andrew as Scotland Yard was.

Instead, they’re pushing back against him and demanding he offer proof of that supposed condition, as the Daily Wire reports:

Lawyers for Virginia Giuffre, who claims that she was forced by Jeffery Epstein to have sex with Prince Andrew three times in 2001, are demanding that the British member of the Royal Family hand over documentation that proves his inability to sweat — a bizarre excuse he presented as proof that he had never met Giuffre.

According to court documents, Giuffre’s attorneys have requested information about Andrew’s “alleged medical condition of anhidrosis, hyperhidrosis” as part of an ongoing civil case against the prince in a New York court.

Responding to the demand for proof he can’t sweat, Andrew’s lawyers objected “on the grounds that it is harassing and seeks confidential and private information and documents that are irrelevant, immaterial and not reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence.
