As Governor Youngkin racks up victories over the blue state establishment and its favorite mandates in the Old Dominion, other Americans are standing up and fighting back too, showing the tyrannical establishment what they think of its demands that they wear a face diaper, get a jab, or do whatever else “Dr.” Fauci the gravel-voiced tyrant demands.
Whether just tired of it all, buoyed by the concrete steps taken by a few red state governors, or finally let off the leash by the sight of tens of thousands of truckers taking direct action against the tyrant Trudeau, people are finally speaking their minds about what’s going on. And, to put it mildly, they’re not happy. Two years of having to keep one’s mouth shut behind an itchy mask will do that.
One such person is Lauren Lane, wife of country star Chris Lane. She, in an Instagram story, went scorched Earth on the Democrat hypocrites that demand children mask up while in school, if classes are in person at all, while simultaneously going around unmasked whenever they get the opportunity.
She did so by posting a screenshot of another person’s post and commenting on the situation herself.
The original post, an Instagram story by “kaylaraereid,” includes text superimposed over a picture of LA Mayor Eric Garcetti unmasked. The text says:
“The mayor of Los Angleles who claimed he ‘holds his breath when not wearing his mask.’–Hold your breath and have a conversation? What a talent!!!
Your child has speech, developmental and social delays because they haven’t seen their friends’ or teachers’ smiles for 2 years.
You haven’t been able to fly with your toddler to see your family across the country because you know she won’t wear a mask and you don’t want to make her and you don’t want risk making a scene, so you drive hours and hours or just don’t go.
Who knows how many things have been missed out on? How much has been lost?
Meanwhile stadiums of unmasked adults have been smushed together for months.”
Adding to that with her own thoughts, Lane said:
“Young children cannot learn with a mask on period pint blank. this is cruel. I am thankful we are able to travel for now to see family bc dutton is not two and in my heart I know for a fact he would never keep a mask on at the young age of 2. I’m not anti mask but if you let 75k people gather in a stadium child care programs with TODDLERS can lose the masks. WHO IS REPRESENTING THE CHILDREN!!!!!!”
Fox reports that she also added a few more statements on the issue, such as:
“Will forever fight for this baby and his right to learn. I have the ability to home school him or send him to private school if I have to. Not everyone has this ability to do for their children. It’s not fair and cruel to an entire generation”
“I personally believe children learn best without a mask but if a parent wants to mask their child-they know what’s best for THEIR BABY. No judgment either way but hypocritical, self-motivated politicians controlling our children learning makes me sick. Mom knows best and not every child is the same!!!”
They both have a point, obviously. Why are children still kept under the thumb of such tyrants if the stadiums are open and tens of thousands are milling around in them?
I’ve been against it all from the start but, still, even people who used to be for it should be getting fed up at this point.
