DeSantis Reject’s Biden’s Tyranny in an Amazing Way

Biden is demanding that DeSantis participate in his tyrannical plans and send the Florida National Guard to DC to deploy during the State of the Union to deal with the trucker convoy and any other anti-Biden protests that might occur.

DeSantis, however, refused. As Jack Posobiec announced on Twitter:

“BREAKING: DeSantis REJECTS Biden’s request for Florida National Guard to deploy to DC for the State of the Union”

DeSantis too announced the move on Twitter, saying that he was refusing to comply with Biden’s unpatriotic order:

“Last week, the Biden Administration requested the assistance of State National Guards to deploy to Washington D.C. I have rejected this request — there will be no [Florida National Guard] sent to D.C. for Biden’s State of the Union.”

The Washington Examiner reports that Christina Pushaw, DeSantis’s press secretary, told it that:

The federal government sent the request to all states “to prepare for anticipated ‘First Amendment protests’” coinciding with Biden’s address Tuesday. The National Guard “should never be misused for political purposes,” she added.

She went on to emphasize how the National Guard was misused the last time it was sent to DC, being left to freeze in parking lots and march around the city like a prop for the regime and its fears of angry deplorables:

“Last year, when the National Guard deployed to D.C. around the inauguration, they were forced to sleep in freezing parking lots, all for a regime spectacle,” Pushaw said. “Our dedicated, patriotic service members deserve better.”

Nikki Fried, DeSantis’ likely opponent in the Florida gubernatorial election, attacked him for the move, calling him unpatriotic. As the Floridian reports, she said:

“I’m so disgusted. You know, we was willing to spend $1.6 million to send our law enforcement to the southern border.

But when the President of the United States is asking for National Guard’s members to come up to DC to protect the president to protect our capitol to protect our members of Congress, and he says no. I mean, how unpatriotic is that?

You know, when your president calls you to answer, I don’t care if you’re a Democrat. I don’t care if you’re Republican, but we are supposed to be the United States of America, and he is unwilling to protect our democracy and unwilling to protect our president. Shame on dissenters.”

Despite Fried’s pearl-clutching, DeSantis is doing the right thing here; Biden want troops to use when the truckers show up to vent their displeasure.

If we don’t want the American trucker convoy to end up like the Canadian one, beaten and harassed by agents of the state, then GOP governors shouldn’t send their National Guard forces.

Let the outnumbered Capitol police try to deal with it; let blue state governors get their National Guard units entangled in dealing with a massive trucker protest while our forces remain uninvolved and at home.

DeSantis is giving all red-state governors an example of how to act and what to do; in this case, that means not going along with Biden’s tyrannical plans.
