[Watch] Brilliant! Madison Cawthorn Defines What A ‘Woman’ Is For Nancy Pelosi

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) may be the youngest member of Congress, but he recently showed wisdom beyond his years by providing a fundamental explanation to one of the oldest members: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. And the fact that such explanations are even necessary illustrates the absurdity of today’s leftist politics in America.

Alluding to the recent refusal by Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson to oblige a request by Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) to “provide a definition of the word ‘woman,’” Cawthorn provided this definition. Watch:

Let’s just pause for a moment to fully appreciate Cawthorn’s achievement. For as long as our great Republic continues, and perhaps for even longer, Cawthorn’s statement will officially appear in The Congressional Record. Virtually every word that has ever been spoken in the halls of Congress has been recorded in the Congressional Record, and now, thanks to the ever-increasing woke lunacy from our friends on the left, this definition of gender by Cawthorn has now been immortalized:

“You might amend a bill, but you’ll never amend biology. Science is not Burger King. You can’t just have it your way. I’m the youngest member of the House of Representatives, and I never could have imagined that one of my sacred duties in this hallowed chamber would be to explain to the House Speaker the difference between a man and a woman. Take notes, Madam Speaker, I’m about to define what a woman is for you: XX chromosomes, no tally whacker. It’s so simple.”  

For the left, Mr. Cawthorn has become a lightning rod for controversy, due largely to his refusal to shy away from sensitive topics. And while he may someday live to regret some of the things he’s said during his political life, this statement should not be one of them. Bravo, Congressman.

Cawthorn’s words were spot on, of course, and with a topic this ridiculous there’s a real benefit to injecting humor into the debate. It helps to expose the insanity. But even more inspiring was his choice to take on this subject in the first place. So many Republicans and self-proclaimed conservatives are reluctant to speak out on a matter that’s so important. They cower in fear of the woke mob and would rather be timid than bold.

Today’s culture war is hot and getting hotter, and this is the approach those of us on the right must take. Don’t shy away from the argument, scream it from the mountaintops. This is a winning issue for Republicans because rationality is always in fashion.
