BREAKING: 2 Michigan Militia Members NOT GUILTY in Whitmer Kidnapping Case, Here’s Why

All those furious about how the FBI has handled things the past few years, particularly the overtly political way it goes about prosecuting only certain crimes in America, got a boost today: the men involved in the supposed Whitmer kidnapping plot were just found not guilty.

Huge blow to the FBI: Zero guilty verdicts in the case of the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan governor. Not guilty verdict for three, hung jury on the alleged ringleader, per @PeteWilliamsNBC

Fox, reporting on the massive announcement, said:

Two of four men were acquitted Friday in a conspiracy to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2020, motivated by fury at the Democrat’s tough COVID-19 restrictions early in the pandemic.

The verdicts against Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta were read in the federal court in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jurors said they couldn’t agree on verdicts against Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr. Prosecutors described Fox as a ringleader of an anti-government group.

Earlier in the day, the jurors said that there are several counts which the deliberative body were deadlocked on. Testimony began on March 9.

Why, exactly, were the two men able to escape the grasping claws of the tyrannical government and its FBI thugs?

Entrapment might be one answer: it sure looked like the FBI more set the men up than discovered a plot and jurors were, as a result, unwilling to lock them up.

Detroit News, reporting on that aspect of the case, notes that “Defense lawyers spent months raising questions about FBI agent conduct and claiming that a team of investigators and informants orchestrated the conspiracy and entrapped the four men, a ragtag band of social outcasts who harbored antigovernment views and anger over restrictions imposed by Whitmer.

While Harris and Caserta were let out of prison after two long, harrowing years, two more remain imprisoned. Those would be the “ringleaders” (no, not the FBI ringleaders, the random guys the FBI set up).

Detroit News, reporting on their situation, saidChief U.S. District Robert Jonker declared a mistrial on kidnapping conspiracy charges against accused ringleaders Adam Fox, 38, of Potterville, and Barry Croft, 46, of Delaware…Andrew Birge, U.S. attorney for the Western District of Michigan, vowed to retry the accused ringleaders, Fox and Croft.

It’s unclear why the jury didn’t treat the supposed “ringleaders” the same as the others.

Darren Beattie, noted MAGA populist and founder of Revolver News, commented what many of us feel when the outcome was announced, saying “FBI senior leadership should be in jail for this”.

In a separate tweet a bit later he added to that, sayingBecause the United States is not a real country, I doubt there will be any accountability for the criminals and liars in government who engineered the Michigan Hoax and the Jan 6 Fedsurrection“. Indeed. In a just society, none of this would have happened. But here we are.

Despite that blackpill, the bright spot was that Governor Whitmer’s office when absolutely berserk in a statement, saying”

Today, Michiganders and Americans—especially our children—are living through the normalization of political violence. The plot to kidnap and kill a governor may seem like an anomaly. But we must be honest about what it really is: the result of violent, divisive rhetoric that is all too common across our country. There must be accountability and consequences for those who commit heinous crimes. Without accountability, extremists will be emboldened.

So, two innocent men were found not guilty of conspiracy, but two others will have to go through a trial all over again in the hope the jury will reach a conclusion and the FBI likely won’t be punished for what was an obvious attempt at entrapment. At least justice was partially served.
